The Department of Research and Grants Management at DePelchin Children’s Center is contracted to perform the local and national evaluation for Harris County Systems of Hope (HCSOH). The national evaluation is a cross-site longitudinal study on children and families enrolled in systems of care programs. The local evaluation examines issues important to our local community, and includes research questions developed to provide the HCSOH program with useful information for quality improvement, sustainability, and advocacy purposes. Local community stakeholders, parents, youth and other interested parties can join the HCSOH Evaluation Advisory Council, which meets every other month to discuss issues related to the implementation of the evaluation, troubleshoot any problems, and examine and help interpret results. For questions regarding the HCSOH evaluation or the Evaluation Advisory Council, please contact the Interim Lead Evaluator, Pamela Bonsu at 713-802-7797 or pbonsu@depelchin.org.
