Harris County Systems of Hope is fully committed to the value of family involvement and leadership. We strongly believe that families must be included in all decisions regarding the planning and provision of mental health services for their children. It is the responsibility of all who work within the system of care to make every effort to assure families have a strong voice and are actively involved in the decisions making process.

From their own personal experiences, whether positive or negative, families offer an inside perspective as to how systems are serving their children and, more importantly, they can provide feedback for improving services and outcomes.
 
Through a generous grant from the Harris County Hospital District Foundation, Systems of Hope is able to provide:

• Presentations and trainings for youth, families and service providers. 
• A resource guide on Family-Run Organizations in Harris County.
• A forum for Family Leaders to share strengths, challenges, resources and opportunities with one another.
